Parks & Trails

Some days are for wandering

Off the beaten path. Into a whole new groove. To the beat of your own heart.

This is everything the great outdoors has to offer, with a view that’s simply out of this world.

Endless community and neighborhood parks spark energy, creativity, lifelong play, and a love of the outdoors. And many events each month are planned especially for Summerlin® residents.

Shoot the breeze with your neighbors. Plan a day with friends. Walk. Hike. Run. Bike. Breathe.

More than 150 miles of trails are carved into this desert oasis, connecting Summerlin’s neighborhood villages. Today there are 10 miles of completed trail along with 215 Beltway, with more on the way – and eventually, this regional trail system will connect to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Inviting and award-winning:
In 2008, The Howard Hughes Corporation® received the American Trails Developer Award from American Trails, a non-profit organization dedicated to trail interests. The award recognizes well-designed multi-use trail systems, and this was the first time a private developer was ever honored.
